Magliano

Surrounded by massive walls, olive trees and vines, it is a beautiful village in Maremma which is rich in history. Coming from the state road 323, the first sight of Magliano you cannot miss. The walls, the towers, the bell tower, the roofs of the houses gathered, all surrounded by olive trees, makes it a fascinating and ancient town. Leave your car outside the walls and enter in Magliano from Porta San Giovanni, you can expect a really nice walk between the ancient palaces, walkways on the walls, ancient churches and views ranging up to the Argentario coast. If you arrive at lunch or dinner, the streets of the village are full of the scents of Maremma, we suggest a stop in a restaurants to appreciate its quality. If you're in the area in August, do not miss the event "Vinellando", with tastings of Morellino di Scansano dishes.
