Orbetello

is a quaint town nestled in the Argentario Orbetello lagoon surrounded on three sides by the homonymous lagoon which been inhabited since ancient times (still visible are parts of the defensive walls Etruscan).  Strolling in the pretty and flat town inside the walls, you can visit the ancient gates, the powder magazine Guzman, the Governor's Palace, the Cathedral and the various churches, the walls, the last remains of the nine mills Spaniards. The town of Orbetello is connected via a cycle track with the Forest Reserve Feniglia, a six kilometer long beach that separates the lagoon from the open sea, characterized by a lush pine forest, the town is connected directly from the railroad.
